Nexus Point or simply Nexus or Nex, Tamer and Guild leader of the Chesapeake United Tamers of Britannia

Reincarnated into the Realm in 2005, Prior to that he enjoyed another life as a Sosarian from 1999 till 2002.

He grew up near Skara Brae, Trammel. Never married no known children as his preference for living among the wildlife of Sosaria tends to make finding a date rather slim.

He is known to spend time simply wandering the realm looking for artifacts of the past and for houses in ruins hoping to find rare and scarce treasures in their remains.

In the Fall of 2005 Nexus was reborn in the realm from a long stay in the realm beyond. Having full knowledge of his past life as a human tamer known to many he was surprised to find that the Age of Shadows antiquated much of what he knew. Few helped him in his quest to learn how the world of Sosaria was now governed and how the new magics that instilled magic and knowledge to items. Without the knowledge of how these new magics operated he wandered on his own for quite some time.

Battling the Learning Curve

Starting out in his preferred home of Skara Brae Nexus was surprised to find that several new worlds had been discovered since his departure in years past. Malas, and Tokuno now were accessible and provided new lands to roam and adventure in along with those he knew and loved such as Trammel and Ilshenar. Felucca though he remembered and once had ties to now seemed to chaotic for his liking. Nexus began relearning the skills he once possessed in another life, that of a Bard and an Animal Tamer both long hard roads that were not only profitable but those he loved best. Nexus, journeys took him to a quite and remote part of Malas one day as he was scouting the new lands in hopes of finding a place to home stead and behold an open flat level plot of land was in sight. Placing his first of many homes he settled in to begin acquiring and studying relics some of which he knew that many in these lands did not remember the origins of. Over the course of the next year Nexus would move several times both to Malas, and Trammel. His obsession with ferreting (no pun intended) items from the past caused him to constantly outgrow his homes. Some months later while exploring an area known as the Twisted Wield he happened upon human known as Volrina Quarra. Unknown to Nexus this was to be a turning point in his life, because after a few weeks of observing and questioning Nexus asked for admittance into the United Tamers of Britannia.

Rises and Falls, Success and Heartbreak

After 2 weeks as a Ronin in the United Tamers of Britannia Nexus was moved to Full Membership, his Mentor Ryo-Ohki whom he still has much respect and seeks advice from time to time vouched for his induction. During his time as a member of the United Tamers he came to find a new passion in addition to that of a Tamer, he left his study of the bardic crafts for those of a more roguish pursuit. Learning how to move quietly and swiftly in the shadows, Nexus began learning the arts of Stealth and Hiding to which he attributes much of his success in stalking and observing future pets and companions. His desire for companionship with like minded folks and willingness to assist his fellows and others quickly gained him respect among the circle of his peers and among those higher in the guild. It wasn't long before he was offered a place as a Mentor in the United Tamers of Britannia. As a Mentor Nexus was charged with not only finding, and evaluating new prospects wishing to gain membership into the United Tamers but actually testing and observing Ronin before they were accepted as full members.

Much to Nexus' dismay this was the beginning of a radical and turbulent time for the United Tamers of Britannia, the quiet of the realm became deafening and with that lull in happenings many of his guild mates departed or left to meditate in solitude until the realm needed them again. The United Tamers became disorganized and lost direction due to this and many of Nexus' most cherished friends left the guild for "greener pastures". Life for Nexus once again became and almost solitary existence, after much discussing among the still active and reachable members it was decided that it was time to elect a new leader to the United Tamers to give the guild a direction and hopefully return the sense of purpose it once had. Before such a vote was ever acted the former Guild Leader passed Leadership onto Nexus, once word of a secret plan for a vote became open knowledge though this knowledge almost once again ripped the guild apart. The old leadership challenged the new claiming them to be an usurper, and coup leader while Nexus and his followers declared their actions were only in the interest of the guild. This short lived battle halted any progress in the guild as Nexus refused to introduce new members into a chaotic system and into the bickering and battling that was going on.

After many months of debate on the future of the guild it was decided that to not only stabilize things, but to insure that the surviving members of the chaos that ensued inside the guild would have like minded companions, the United Tamers of Britannia joined the PaxLair Community Alliance as a Statehood Guild, Nexus was a driving force in this decision. With this Union between UTB and some of the oldest established groups on Chesapeake, UTB under Nexus' guidance hopes to enter a new brighter Future.

Current Interest Notes

Currently Nexus is working on revitalizing and helping to modernize the United Tamers. Much change happened with the coming of the Age of Shadows and even more with the return of Elves to the realm. With this in mind Nexus is working to open UTB to Tamers that prior to this would not have been granted access to it's ranks. Nexus' vision is of a place for all tamers to be welcome not just those of moderate, to high proficiency in the art of taming.
